Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: 28/07/2025

Aetherlink is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, regardless of ability or technology. We are continuously improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to ensure that our website and digital tools are inclusive and easy to navigate.

Our Commitment
We strive to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures We Take

  • Use of clear contrast and readable fonts to improve legibility

  • Structured HTML with semantic headings and ARIA labels

  • Keyboard navigability for menus, forms, and interactive content

  • Descriptive alt text for all key images and graphics

  • Accessible VR/AI platforms under development to support inclusive virtual participation

Known Limitations
We acknowledge that some interactive visual content—especially immersive VR environments and 3D simulations—may not be fully optimized for assistive technologies. We are actively working to:

  • Provide alternative text summaries and transcripts for simulations

  • Ensure keyboard and voice-navigation options

  • Incorporate feedback from users with diverse accessibility needs

Third-Party Tools
Some elements of our site rely on third-party services (e.g. embedded forms, videos, maps). While we aim to ensure accessibility across all embedded tools, some limitations may exist outside our control.

Ongoing Commitment
Aetherlink is part of a global movement to increase inclusion in science and technology. As part of this mission, we are investing in training, inclusive design practices, and partnerships to ensure that our platforms—and the future of science—are accessible to all.
